Fundamentals is easy to use. First watch the video. Next put tape 1 into your cassette player and the instructions you will hear, will guide your student through the simple, logical, step by step learn to read program. Students 8 years and up can do the program themselves. However it is in their best interest if you monitor their progress during the lessons. Have them read to you. Listen carefully for accuracy. And of course the games are more fun when the student has competition. The games are to be played over and over. They are designed as practice and the student will be learning as the game is being played. Older students and adults need to understand that they must start back at the beginning even though it appears simple and somewhat childish. By doing every step of the program they will insure they fill in the missing gaps in their knowledge of skill of reading.
